My first day as a new nomad has more resembled a day as a wintering bear. The last month, I've been straining my body with sleep deprivation. Work has consumed more than its fair share of time time and attention. Now, with food on hand, a room that is oh so dark, and a temperature that has dropped will into my comfort zone, all I seem to do is sleep. I did leave the room for breakfast, and to buy a razor, but beyond grooming, my personal activities have only included sleep, and rewatching the same 3 episodes of Daredevil over and over as I keep falling asleep after only 10 minutes.
I don't mind these somnolent hours, despite being in the heart of New Orleans. A rested nomad is far more capable of enjoyment and travel than I was only yesterday.
Glad to hear you are getting much needed sleep and hopefully rest. Maybe you'll still get to enjoy The Big Easy a lil bit before you leave it.
